Living in Linwood, OH

The small neighborhood of Linwood, Ohio dates back to 1848. Housing consists of single-family, duplexes and older, affordable homes. Familiar landmarks include the 116-year-old, ivy-covered Linwood firehouse, which now holds the Bentley Koepke Inc., a landscape architect and site-planning firm. The Linwood Baptist Church sits next door. It is home to Lunken Airport, which serves private, corporate and air cargo commercial planes. There are tennis courts, parks, golf courses, picnic areas, playgrounds and a 5.5 mile paved trail for residents to enjoy. Nearby Lunken Airport is the old Memorial Pioneer Cemetery, the burial site for some of the earliest pioneers. Linwood has an active community council. There’s a lot of shopping nearby, and for dining, Allyn’s Café and the Precinct are favorite stops.
