About Waynesville, OH

, Ohio is considered by many to be the Antiques Capital of the Midwest. When the town was founded in the late 18th Century, it was designed similar to an English village complete with a central public square. Waynesville is unique in that it is one of the fewer small towns in the Midwest whose number one industry is tourism. This is mostly due to the 85 antique shops that line the downtown area. Houses in Waynesville include popular farmhouses and more expensive estates. Waynesville is also known as being the most haunted town on Ohio. A yearly Sauerkraut festival brings people from all over to Waynesville, Ohio.
