About Westerville, Ohio

If ever a community had it all, you're sure to find Westerville, Ohio is exactly that! Neighborhoods in Westerville range from affordable and quaint to upscale and posh, and they all reap the benefits of a well-respected community. You say you'd like some acreage? Well, you'll find lots of land available in Westerville, Ohio too.

Home to the prestigious Otterbein College, Westerville offers numerous jobs and educational opportunities, not to mention culture and diversity, adding to this city's charm. The campus is beautiful in architecture and green space, accenting this town's heritage as well as its goals. A great recreation center, state-of-the-art hospital, and proximity to downtown Columbus via two major highways, adds to Westerville's many attributes. Other local attractions include Germain Amphitheater, a popular stop on the hottest bands' summer tours, Inniswood Metro Gardens, and shopping at Polaris and the premier Easton Town Center.

Moving in? Bring your boat, your water skis, jet skis, fishing gear, whatever your pleasure. Nearby Alum Creek is the perfect place for water lovers! Nature lovers, too will find plenty to do from deer and wildlife watching at the local metro parks to picnics, baseball, and apple pie – well, you have to supply the pie. The point is, this all-American town is a classic with summer concerts, holiday parades and activities such as the tree lighting in Westerville's bustling uptown, along with its craft and clothing boutiques, a florist, and excellent eateries. Love a home-cooked meal but would rather let someone else do the cooking? The senior center will be happy to serve up a pancake breakfast or a delicious ham and bean dinner.

A history that includes ties to the Underground Railroad lends a historical atmosphere to this established community's mature, tree-lined streets and genuine home-town feel.
