The fifth largest city in the state of Oregon, Beaverton is nestled between the metropolis of Portland and the lush farms of Washington County. Originally founded on a Native American site called “Chakeipi,” which means “place of the Beaver,” Beaverton was incorporated in 1893 and is now home to over 83,000 people.
