About Oakwood, OH

Oakwood, Ohio is surrounded by many suburbs, which makes it hard to build new homes here. Oakwood's neighborhoods are filled with Tudor homes, which are the most common and popular homes available for sale. Because of the lack of ability to develop, the town has decided to concentrate more on preserving its past than building up real estate. Gas lamps light the tree-lined streets bringing back memories of yesterday. The town also has plenty of shopping areas, though most are smaller restaurants but many have been reviewed as being some of the best restaurants in the Dayton area. There are numerous parks and open spaces in Oakwood with tennis courts, swimming pools, and golf courses.
