We have a National Natural Landmark, Silver Springs and many countless historic landmarks. Many Ancient Indian artifacts have been discovered along the Silver River. The Timucua Indians put down roots in a spot they called “Ocali”. Marion County is a successful blend of past & present. Ocala has many acres of beautiful rolling hills, trees, spring fed rivers, lush pastures, a patchwork of forest, and quiet towns. We have many different types of communities to choose from. So if you’re an avid Golfer or prefer the set back life of living on the water for lots of fishing and jet skiing, we got you covered. Marion County offers a unique lifestyle. Many of our visitors were “just driving through”, but decided to stay awhile and many have made permanent residents here in Ocala, FL. We stay a nice moderate temperature of 90 degrees in the summer months with a nice ocean breeze from both the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico.
