The Borough of Narberth, Pennsylvania was founded in 1895. The Borough, which is located in Lower Merion Township, is best known for its community activities, downtown shopping and convenience to Center City Philadelphia. It was first incorporated and known as a railroad town due to the proximity of the train station but has since become a desirable location due to its ideal suburban environment and location. These qualities have helped earned Narberth the title as the "Heart of the Main Line". There are year round activities to keep both children and adults alike busy, active and entertained with events such as the Narberth summer basketball league, 4th of July fireworks celebration, Dicken's Christmas Carol festivities and the Narberth Run to name a few. The downtown shops draw shoppers from all over as well, adding to the reasons why Narberth has become a destination for many in the region.
