With a population of about 25,000, Fluvanna County, Virginia is growing more than four times faster than the state and is the second fastest growing county in Virginia. Most of the residents of this charming county can be found around the 352-acre man-made lake, Lake Monticello. The remainder of the county is generally rural and offers the best of that kind of lifestyle. This pristine lake offers swimming, fishing, boating, water-skiing or anything else you enjoy on open water. Five beaches surround the lake along with a marina and boat ramp making it the place to be on a pleasant or hot day.
