Peachtree City Homes

One great community that has drawn considerable attention of late is Peachtree City, Georgia. There are myriad reasons why this Southern gem is drawing so much praise, including the temperate climate, cozy atmosphere, and family-friendly environment. Its 24 square miles include beautiful homes, two lakes, lush parks, and a carefully zoned business park.

Peachtree City homes are unique beauties, far removed from the cookie cutter image often associated with planned communities. Many sit on sizable plots of land, while others are clustered for a "neighborhood" feel. Also, because the community has had time to grow, the landscaping has fully grown in and sturdy trees fill the city's streets and open spaces. While many planned communities are new and rather barren, Peachtree City feels incredibly homey.

Peachtree City homes range from classic two-story houses to one-story wonders. These properties remain some of the mostly highly valued on the Georgia real estate market, and since growth is capped, this is not a trend; it's a fact.

The majority of the population of Peachtree City is comprised of families (although many individuals also make this idyllic community their home as well), so it's a safe place to raise children. However, many singles and active adults live here as well, creating a closely-knit and well-rounded community. The St. Simons Cove community within the city even offers a landscape-care program for residents who like to be able to leave for extended periods of time without worrying about yard maintenance.
