The city of Richmond, California is a city of nearly 100,000 residents and its economy has been undergoing a major transition from its former heavy industrial character toward more "high tech" and light industrial companies. Biotechnology has developed as an important new role in Richmond's economy.

Richmond's location on the Bay makes it a great place for boaters, fishers and people who like being able to enjoy the water. Housing is primarily houses of all different styles and sizes attracting a multi-ethnic mix to bring cultural diversity to this wonderful town. Richmond is an industrial and residential community with a prosperous and changing economy, a dynamic business environment, and a strong potential for further growth.
