Welcome to Rochester, OH

The village of Rochester is part of Lorain County in north central Ohio, approximately 50 miles west-southwest of Akron and Cleveland. A small rural community of around 200 people, Rochester serves as a peaceful retreat for those who spend their days in the busy city; and yet, Rochester residents have all the benefits of being part of a vibrant metropolitan area. The village provides a safe and nourishing environment for growing families, offering quality education through the Keystone Local School District of LaGrange. Also, Rochester graduates and adults have convenient access to several institutions of higher learning, such as the liberal arts Oberlin College and Lorain County Community College in Elyria.
