The Manchester area in eastern Rock Hill has dramatically expanded in the last few years. The area is home to a movie theatre, several shopping centers, and a brand new soccer complex with synthetic turf. Rock Hill has a world-class parks and recreation department. Cherry Park has five softball fields and Hargett Park has four baseball fields. Cherry Park has hosted the National Softball Association's World Series twice in the last ten years.
