Roswell Georgia Homes

Without a doubt, some of Roswell's most beautiful residences are its antebellum mansions which date back to before the dawn of the Civil War. It's amazing that these stately homes managed to survive a war, but thankfully, they're now open for town residents and visitors to enjoy. Many have been converted into museums or event halls to serve the town in a commercial sense.

These Greek revival mansions inspired much of Roswell's architecture, including more modest dwellings built within the past 50 years. History is an integral part of Roswell, represented in the architecture of many of its homes. Of course, a variety of other homes are available in Roswell if Victorian or Greek revival is not your preferred style of design.

In fact, many Roswell homes are quite contemporary in design, and blend in seamlessly with the wooded land and riverside properties of the city. In addition, since the mid-1990s, Roswell's population has experienced tremendous growth. Many new townhome developments have been constructed to house residents migrating to Atlanta's ever-growing suburb.

Its history, small-town charm, and forest-like surroundings are two reasons for this growth, but other factors certainly have contributed. Roswell has a high percentage of single residents, making it attractive to those looking for love. For the people who have found that special someone and desire a small community to start a family, Roswell is both close enough to provide Atlanta's big-city amenities and far enough to give a sense of space and safety.
