Welcome to Simpsonville, SC

The city of Simpsonville is located in northwestern South Carolina, just 15 miles south of Greenville. Founded in the early 1800’s as an ordinary stagecoach stop named Plain, Simpsonville has become one of the fastest growing areas in the southeast. Along with neighboring communities, Mauldin and Fountain Inn, Simpsonville is part of the “Golden Strip,” well-known for having a long list of industries and corporate headquarters that has brought much business diversity and prosperity to the region. And yet, despite its abundance of career opportunities, Simpsonville is far from being about work and work alone; the city fosters a laid back, small-town atmosphere full of classic Southern hospitality and the joys of a slower-paced life. With a population of just under 15,000 residents, Simpsonville offers quality education with a personal touch, a unique historic downtown, and a tight-knit community that frequently gathers for holiday festivals and events, such as the annual Labor Day Festival, the Downtown Trick or Treat Event, and the Christmas Parade.
