The city of Simpsonville is located in northwestern South Carolina, just 15 miles south of Greenville. Founded in the early 1800’s as an ordinary stagecoach stop named Plain, Simpsonville has become one of the fastest growing areas in the southeast. Along with neighboring communities, Mauldin and Fountain Inn, Simpsonville is part of the “Golden Strip,” well-known for having a long list of industries and corporate headquarters that has brought much business diversity and prosperity to the region.
