Welcome to Tega Cay, SC

After taking a trip to Tega Cay, South Carolina, you will see why it means "beautiful peninsula" in Polynesian. Located on a peninsula extending into Lake Wylie, Tega Cay is more densely populated with tall pine trees and hardwoods than it is with people. Students will attend the reputable Fort Mill School District and residents will benefit from the low property taxes of York County. Tega Cay offers the convenience of being near Charlotte. Trips to go see the Bobcats, Panthers, or a NASCAR event at the Lowes Motor Speedway are no trouble at all.

One of the greatest features about Tega Cay is the climate advantage of living near the water. The water helps Tega Cay maintain a fairly mild climate. With mild weather comes golf, and Tega Cay's 27 hole championship course is a beautiful place to spend a day. Afternoon trips to Lake Wylie are no problem for Tega Cay residents; the town has three boat launching areas and a full-service marina. Tega Cay offers four water front parks and has two more in the making. Living on the lake is easy and convenient thanks to the luxuries provided by the Tega Cay community.
