About San Martin, California

San Martin, California is a town without a home. It's been given its status as a city because of the census, rather than because of actually being incorporated into any county or city even though it's located in Santa Clara County. San Martin is a small town with a rural feel and its primary industry is agriculture – specifically garlic and mushrooms which are shipped throughout the country. It's also home to an aviation museum and has a mild climate which fits in perfectly with the wonderful hills, giant oaks and fertile lands around it. San Martin is a community with a great affection for horses and has equestrian organizations with several places to ride and keep horses.
