Saratoga is one of the most historic, upper-class residential communities in the state of California. Its downtown district pays tribute to those who came before today. It's also home to wineries and Hakone Gardens, which is the oldest Japanese style garden in the US.

For those wanting to move to Saratoga, California, it ranked in the top 50 of Money Magazine's best places to live. Saratoga, California has several housing options ranging from reasonably priced homes to larger homes with lots of land and stunning views. Because of zoning regulations, houses tend to be pretty far spread out. Many consider Saratoga to be European in nature with its wide variety of restaurants, bakeries and antique shops.
