About Sheridan, Indiana

The small, but continually growing town of Sheridan, Indiana is found 30 miles due north of Indianapolis. In 2010, Sheridan will celebrate its 150th anniversary along with the promise of new development and growth as a new era begins to unfold. Today, the town's well-educated workforce is a profitable commodity, but unlike other Indianapolis suburbs, home offices are common in Sheridan. Typical home prices are around $140,000.

Biddle Memorial Park in Sheridan provides family recreation facilities including playgrounds, ball diamonds and picnic tables. Nearby, Morse and Geist Reservoirs provide scenic facilities for boating and fishing. Forest Park, only fifteen minutes from Sheridan, offers swimming, tennis, baseball, camping and picnicking. The park also has both 9-hole and 18-hole golf courses.
