Welcome to Shrewsbury, Massachusetts

Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, a suburb of both Boston and Worcester, 50 minutes from Boston and 15 minutes from downtown Worcester, MA. This town resembles a Norman Rockwell painting in the winter months. Although Shrewsbury offers considerable commercial development and shopping centers along Route 9, the town continues to retain its charm and character.

Lake Quinsigamond is a long deep lake separating Worcester and Shrewsbury, MA. The Quinsigamond Boat Club was formed during the mid 1800’s.and the first boat race or ‘regatta’ was held. The lake’s geographical features make it ideal for such races. The 2000 meter rowing course is internationally recognized as one of the best courses in the world – continues to be a major attraction for high school and college crew racing.

Shrewsbury is a fast growing community and is well known for beautiful, well maintained neighborhoods that harmonize lovely older homes and new developments.

The growth is contributed to Shrewsbury’s location within the “golden triangle” between driving routes #495, #290, #90, #9, #20, and #140, plus rail service. Many residents are commuters to nearby biotech firms, University Of Massachusetts Medical campus plus other medical hospitals and computer industry companies. The area is diversified and strong in its appeal to relocating families.
