With acknowledgements such as “One of the prettiest towns to live in Virginia” and “Best preserved seaports of the Virginia colonies”, it’s no wonder that Smithfield, Virginia has seen a dramatic increase in property values and innovative workings in the community. Known throughout the country for their expertise in the meat packing industry, Smithfield has made a journey from simply being known for the manufacturing and distribution of their world famous ham.
