Spokane Washington, the largest city between Seattle and Minneapolis, is located along the eastern border of Washington State in the heart of the Inland Northwest. Since being established as a city in 1881, Spokane County is now home to over 450,000 people.

Spokane is four-season country, making every season a recreational delight. Water playtime abounds with four major rivers and 76 lakes within 50 miles from the city center. In the winter, drive less than 90 minutes to one of 6 ski resorts to experience snowy fun amid broad horizons and crisp mountain air.

Whatever your entertainment fancy, you will find it in Spokane. Entertainment venues are as varied as the entertainment itself. Visit the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture or perhaps the elegant Bing Crosby Theater. Take in a Best of Broadway show at the INB Performing Arts Center, or listen to the blues at the Knitting Factory Concert House. Enjoy shopping in the downtown core using the unique skywalk system that connects 18 blocks of shops and department stores. And you won’t go hungry with an array of culinary dining choices and every cuisine imaginable.

US Figure Skating Championships are returning to Spokane! After setting an all-time record for ticket sales during the 2007 Figure Skating Championships, Spokane is honored to be hosting the 2010 Championship, just 18 days before the Olympic Opening Ceremonies in Vancouver. Come and watch the best figure skaters in the country compete for a national title and a spot on the 2010 US Olympic Team.
