World Golf Village

The 6,300-acre planned community in St. Augustine, Florida, is the home of the World Golf Village resort, a golf and business destination, as well as a traditional community of residential neighborhoods. The centerpiece of the community, all within walking or biking distance from all three residential neighborhoods, is the World Golf Village.

The World Golf Village houses the World Golf Hall of Fame, a 300-room resort hotel, retail shops, galleries, restaurants and boutiques, and golf courses.

At the heart of World Golf Village are two 18-hole championship golf course, the King & Bear and the Slammer & Squire. Designed to challenge players of all skill levels, both are well-manicured, par-72 courses offering five sets of tees. The King & Bear is named for its co-designers, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. Hall of Famers Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen served as course consultants for the Slammer & Squire, named in their honor.
