Welcome to Corpus Christi, TX

Let me help you imagine Corpus Christi, Texas. Located two short hours south of San Antonio, we have a sub-tropical climate with Palm trees, Orchid trees, and colorful splashes of various plants throughout our Sparkling City. A coastline drive wraps around Corpus Christi Bay and is one of the prettiest scenic drives you will ever take. It is lined with beautiful homes, several parks, bicycle paths, beachfront, sailboats, and a gorgeous skyline! So many lifestyles can be found here. There are your traditional, gated subdivisions with traditional homes, an equestrian lover’s community, homes and condominiums offering waterfront living “Island Style”, and Lofts downtown that offer the urban feel you may desire. Major economics/employers that contribute to the stability of our city are medical, oil, tourism, military, and agriculture. We have a Military Base and the deepest Port in the Gulf of Mexico which aside from its nautical function, offers sightings of large cargo ships, tug boats, and the ferry cruising in and out of the Harbor. The city also has terrific convention facilities, concert venues, museums and is home to the Texas State Aquarium and Corpus Christi Botanical Gardens. We have multiple professional sports teams; The Hooks baseball team; The Sharks football team, and The Ice Rays Hockey Team. Many water sports are enjoyed here, including deep sea fishing, windsurfing, kayaking, and jet skiing. The Padre Island National Seashore, Mustang Island and area beaches attract beachcombers, surfers, and tourists. There is an annual Sea Sculpture Event that brings thousands of people to see the most beautiful creations all made of sand!! If you are fond of the Arts, well we have a ballet company, an Opera company, a wonderful symphony, a Jazz music society and The Harbor Playhouse. If culture is what you crave, we have a very diverse population that influences many events such as the Greek Festival, The Texas Jazz Festival, Feria de Las Flores, and Bayfest. Corpus Christi is also home to top restaurants which offer an international cuisine to satisfy any palette. Get excited about this beautiful place and the opportunity to enjoy living in a city that offers such diversity in its activities, its people, their faiths, and its homes. Corpus Christi is The Place to Be!
