Welcome to Tahoe Vista, CA

Tahoe Vista is a community on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, just west of Kings Beach in Placer County, California. Home to nearly 2,000 people and visited by thousands, Tahoe Vista is a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts who love hidden, secluded beaches and picturesque hiking trails. Aside from swimming, water skiing, fishing, kayaking, and boating of all sorts, Tahoe Vista is just a mile or so south of the North Tahoe Regional Park, which offers 124 acres of facilities for nearly any sport you can imagine, plus hiking and bike paths, and a snow play and ski area for the winter months. Golf lovers of Tahoe Vista can enjoy the nearby Old Brockway Golf Course in Kings Beach and the Tahoe City Golf Course—just two of the ten executive and championship golf courses located in the North Shore basin.

In addition to its many outdoor delights, Tahoe Vista and the North Shore is awash with shopping and dining options, cultural attractions and more. North Shore Tahoe has a vibrant arts community; Tahoe Vista itself is home to three art galleries—Alpine Art, Pogan Gallery, and Vista Gallery—and residents can also enjoy year-round performance arts festivals, such as the popular Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor and the North Lake Tahoe Music Festival. For a Vegas-style “night on the town,” North Shore Tahoe boasts five exciting casinos—the Cal-Neva Resort, the Crystal Bay Club Casino, the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, Jim Kelley’s Tahoe Nugget, and the Tahoe Biltmore Lodge & Casino. And for a luxurious mini-getaway or relaxation retreat, residents and visitors of Tahoe Vista and North Shore Tahoe can take advantage of the many resorts and quiet bed & breakfasts dotting the shore, including Tahoe Vista’s newest—the Mourelatos Lakeside Resort, located on a 275-ft. private beach.
