Welcome to Takoma Park, MDTakoma Park, a commuter suburb, is located just over the Maryland border in Montgomery County. It is not to be confused with the D.C. community known as Takoma. Rather, it’s a planned community that dates back to the late 1800s and is currently home to more than 17,000 residents.
