Upper Arlington, Ohio has an abundance of educational opportunities with its close proximity to The Ohio State University, the extensive course list offered by the local Lifelong Learning and Leisure program, seminars at the Upper Arlington Senior Center and classes available through the city's Parks and Recreation department.

A balanced mix of retail and professional office space affords plenty of job opportunities as well as convenient shopping from boutiques to malls; unique and noteworthy restaurants, some with an international flair and some with a retro-like atmosphere. There are markets geared to the health-conscious, a historic district for the nostalgic, and the university Golf Club offers links lovers it's Scarlet and Gray courses - ranked as the best collegiate facility in the country by Golf Digest.

A short trip to downtown Columbus is easy via several main routes and highways. There you'll find an entire Arena District dedicated to sports, concerts, and a host of other exciting events like Cirque Du Soleil, and more. Several local theaters book major acts and Broadway shows are common. There's culture and haute cuisine, galleries and micro breweries, even a Discovery District for the young and young at heart.
