Welcome to Whidbey Island, WA

Located about 60 miles north of Seattle, Whidbey Island is the longest island in the lower 48 states, and no spot on it is more than five miles from the water. A 20 minute ferry ride from the mainland, Whidbey is known for its quaint historic towns, small wineries and charming inns. Nature lovers appreciate the island’s forested beauty and beautiful beaches. Located in the rain cover of the great Olympic Mountains, the island receives less than 20 inches of rain annually.
