The City of Delavan has a population of 7,956 people. Delavan is also the home of several large industrial companies including Waukesha Cherry-Burrell, Stock Lumber, Bergamot Brass, Swiss Tech and Andes Candies.

Geneva Lakes Kennel Club brought the Greyhound racing to the lakes area. Several shopping centers on the east side of town add many alternatives to area residents.
