The "living" museum contains 65 Wisconsin pioneer farmhouses, barns and shops on 576 acres of wilderness. Visitors can ride a tram to one of the ethnic farmsteads, take a leisurely stroll through the 1870’s Crossroads Village complete with turn-of-the-century shops or watch hands-on activities and historic crafts such as quilting, wool rug braiding and blacksmithing.
