Welcome to Hartland, WI

The Village of Hartland is located in Wisconsin’s scenic Lake Country area. About 20 miles west of Milwaukee this charming village features excellent schools, churches, shopping and restaurants as well as exceptional medial facilities and a growing commerce community.

Hartland hosts many community oriented events such as the Lake Country Community Fest, the Out-N-About In Hartland shopping event, Lake Country Beer & Music Festival, Art Festival and the Annual Hartland Street Dance. There are twelve beautiful lakes surrounding Hartland as well as many golf courses and parks. Hartland’s small town feel coupled with the many recreational options in the area make this village a great place for families.

The history of Hartland dates back to the mid 1800’s when even then it was known for the variety of leisure and recreational opportunities in the area. The young village boasted a race track and baseball diamond as well as many inns and resorts tucked within the surrounding farm lands. This quaint past can still be seen today in the downtown district as well as the many beautiful historic homes scattered through the village.
