St. Francis, Wisconsin

Five miles south of Milwaukee sits the friendly suburb of St Francis. The census of the year 2000 stated that 8,662 people lived here. Idealists try to see the higher property taxes in St Francis as a sign of wealth and desirability. St Francis is well known for a heart of neighborliness and volunteerism. The residents are hard working people who enjoy coming together for holiday celebrations, summertime concerts in the park and worthy causes. St Francis boasts of an excellent school system. They are currently in the midst of developments, which will add a large number of homes, condominiums and apartments along the lakefront.
