Winter Park - Rich in Historical Charm

A Winter Park address has long been one of the most desirable in Central Florida. Unlike the glitter of many newer luxury communities, Winter Park’s low-key patina comes from its carefully preserved 19th-century roots. Rich in historical charm and civic pride, Winter Park has a congenial mix of architectural styles along cobblestone streets lined with moss-veiled, spreading oaks. Spanish-motif homes with red tile roofs and stately mansions live in harmony with contemporary designs.

Park Avenue is known for its elegance, where specialty shops, award-winning art galleries, garden restaurants and cafes abound. Quaint yet cosmopolitan, the shopping district is marked by winding arcades, cozy side streets, three world-class museums, a scenic boat tour and lush Central Park.

The city is also home to the state’s oldest college, Rollins College. This private liberal arts college is highly regarded, and enhances the community educationally, culturally and economically. Also bringing cultural acclaim to Winter Park is the Charles Homer Morse Museum of American Art, which houses one of the world’s most comprehensive collections of the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany. Each spring, hundreds of thousands of art enthusiasts come to the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival, a nationally known fine arts show.
